Our models abroad

Veronika is currently in Singapore with Mannequin agency and she’s loving it. You can see her backstage photos from Chanel show and also her current home. 

How long have you been modeling and where have you been so far?

I started not even a year ago and my first trip was to Milan with Why Not. Then I was supposed to go to Peking but I didn’t get the visa so I went to New York instead with Muse and spent two months there. After one week at home I went to Singapore where I’m now with Mannequin.

How do you like Singapore?

Singapore is strange. If you love hi-tech architecture and tropical climate you will love it. It is also true that the city is absolutely safe. Compared to New York and Milan there is less competition so it is easier to book a job.

Is there anything you miss and can’t wait to have or do?

Chewing gums. There’s a law against chewing gums and their import into the country.

What jobs or experience have you enjoyed the most so far in your career?

I was the most excited about the Chanel show here and another one that the team organizes in Jakarta. I also enjoyed Reckless Erica show where guys got to wear female wigs and we had to walk like boys in these unisex clothes. Otherwise I just love shows in New York because that city has a special atmosphere.
